I can't believe it's already March!

Our life has been extremely busy lately. It seems since January things have been pretty non-stop. Jason is working a lot now so that is a answer to prayer. However that leaves most of the daily stuff up to me. I am in need of a mini vacation like never before!

The kids are all doing well. I am especially proud of Austin! He is doing amazing, accomplishing things I never would have imagined! It's hard to believe this is the same little boy who came to us 9 years ago. He had been so severely neglected and abused that at age 3 he was at a 3 months developmental level. Austin really deserves his own post he is AWESOME!

I am so behind on things I want post. I need to do one just for Austin, and one just for Jaislynn! We had Jaislynn dedicated in January. I have a power point that I made, I need to convert it to video and see if I can post it. I was very happy with how it turned out and I loved making it. I am going to start doing them for all the kids and then turning them into a dvd so they can have memories to watch of the events in their lives.

I have officially given up on putting my pictures in order on here! I thought if I used Internet Explorer vs Mozilla Firefox I would be able to click and drag my photos where I wanted them on the post! Anyone who may have a way that works to actually do this, I appreciate the advice!

Here is Jaislynn after a biter biscuit, she loves to eat as you can see!

She feel asleep in her swing the other day, Joshua once again
made sure she had toys to play with when she woke.

Joshua and Jaislynn were having a snack and he was wearing his cowboy hat, she kept staring at it, so he decided to share with her.
She really liked it, and I think the bib was fitting for the day!

This one's for you Aunt Ta-ta! She will probably be wearing this next winter!

We went bowling as a family a couple weeks ago. Austin seemed to really enjoy himself!

We were blessed to have our favorite nephew join us too! Or as Joshua calls him: E-nan! They had a blast! Here they are getting ready to go get a snack afterwards.

My Mom was there too, I do not know how she seems to always be able to avoid me when I have my camera out. I am going to make a point of getting lots pictures from now on!

Joshua and Ethan just relaxing between turns.

Joshua had the highest score of the night! Pretty good for his 2nd time ever bowling! Guess the bumpers helped too!

He had so much fun! I think we are going to have to do this every month for a fun evening out. Here he was making a funny face because he didn't get a strike!

I haven't gotten the highchair out of the garage and cleaned up for Jaislynn yet, so for now we have been using her bumbo seat with a tray on the table. She hasn't figured out how to get out yet. I will definitely have to have the high chair out as soon as she does! Joshua sits on the table with her and helps me keep her entertained while they have snacks when the older kids are at school.

They usually have a cuddle time every morning before we get started on our busy routines! They both enjoy this so much!

One evening I came into the living room where Josh and Vicki were watching a movie and they had fallen asleep. I thought this was cute!

Cody just avoiding eye contact so he doesn't have to get his picture taken....didn't work this time!

We had a Birthday Party for Chawnta to celebrate her 25 years with us! It was a lot of fun!

There was a snow storm that day, so I stayed inside and made these posters for decorations.

Dad and Uncle Lynn just relaxing after the delicious dinner of sopaipilas, Dad's specialty- words can not even begin to describe how good they were! Thanks Dad!

Joshua helping Aunt Chawnta blow all her candles out!

If your kids are bored just give them a balloon, they'll know what to do!

Jaislynn fell asleep in her rocking chair and she had a hold of the toy bar- Cody actually had me go grab my camera because he thought this was so cute!

Isai and Chawnta looking happy and content after dinner!

More balloon fun! Austin and Maycee can be such hams when I come into the room taking pictures! Such cuties!

Jaislynn in her new activity center. It buys me about 5 minuets to go switch out the laundry, or load the dishwasher. Lately she has been very demanding with wanting to be held all the time. For now I am ok with this because I know its not forever and in a short time she will be almost too busy to be held. It just makes it a challenge to get things done one handed during the day.

Joshua and Jaislynn enjoying a snack together.

Just some more random stuff that fills my SD cards!

Jaislynn is such a cutie I thought this outfit was very fitting!

Josh & Maycee keeping Jaislynn entertained once again!

This is what it looks like when we're headed out on a cold day! Thanks Aunt Chawnta for the car seat cover, we love it!

We started cereal in January and she loves it! She is so animated when she eats she talks the whole time! I'll try to figure out how to post a video it is so cute!

Here Jaislynn is in her chair from Great Grandma, she really likes it now. At first she wasn't too fond if it, she had to grow into it!

Ok I love this picture because Joshua is SO happy with the Iron man outfit he got from us for Christmas. He had been asking and asking every time we would go into walmart for this. I had kept telling him he would just have to wait and see if he got it for Christmas, this was very hard for him since he was sure he wasn't going to get it. I hope he may have learned a little about delayed gratification here.

Cody was pretty happy since he kinda knew what was in his big box, thanks to seeing my ebay order. I'll have to be even more sneaky next year!

I just really like this picture of my Dad, Heath, and Caleb. We had a good time with yet another Christmas celebration with family at our house. We had a total of 5 different Christmas celebrations! I have to figure out a way to combine them more, it is just too hard to do that!

Vicki came home a lot over the holidays and was loving spending time holding Jaislynn. Every time I turned around she had her!

Here she looks a little surprised by the flash. This is the Christmas outfit that Grandma Lea got her, very cute and comfy!

Girls waiting their turn at our Christmas here at home.

Austin showing off one of his gifts, he loves clothes -very easy kid to please!

Maycee with her new coat, she was very easy to buy for this year too. I am pretty lucky so far they are not that picky, and happy with whatever I choose!

Joshua trying to skype Aunt Chawnta on his own. He loves being able to talk to her on the headset and see her on the computer at the same time! He pretends to call her a lot!

Here is Iron man, I have to say the box is really deceiving as it looks as though you are getting a chest plate and a mask, not this ugly body suit. Josh was happy so whatever.

Ok when you have big sister that goes to college, you can pretty much get her to do anything for you when she comes home. Joshua misses Vicki horribly so when she's home he is constantly with her! He asked "will you put a tent up and we can camp in it?" So she did, and they did camp out, well for most of the night anyways!

We let him keep his tent up for a week. He pretty much moved in. He took newspapers, a chair, 4blankets, 2sleepingbags, a gallon of water, a flashlight, a calculator, a desk lamp, and lots and lots of toys. He was devastated when we had to finally clean it out and take it down. I was amazed at how clean and organized he kept all that stuff.

Chawnta was home for Jaislynn's dedication (future post for that, I promise) and was playing the piano for her. Jaislynn loved it!

This is what happens when I leave the room for a few minutes!

I have such a little happy morning person, she is helping me to become one! This is Jaislynn at 7am, all smiles!

Jaislynn found her toes, and now loves to be barefoot and just relax and play with them.

Joshua was in bed one night and I told him he could not come downstairs. When I went to check on him this is what I found. He listened very well, he apparently sat on the stairs until he fell asleep, never coming down!

This was my first view of him asleep on the stairs.

He got this fire fighter helmet for Christmas too. It was pretty cool with a little speaker that would amplify your voice, just wish it wouldn't have broke so soon. It only made it a week. I should've tried to take it back to walmart! He has a spare so he's happy!

Just Jaislynn being cute.

Jaislynn was fighting a cold, I needed to go do something in the kitchen so I asked Josh to talk to her and keep her happy for a few minutes. When I came back this is what I found. I doubt she will ever be bored with Joshua as her brother. I am constantly telling him to "please leave her alone when she is sleeping". He just wants to have her awake to play with all the time!

Here is better photo of the Mohawk that Vicki styled for Jaislynn. Poor baby!

Just blowing raspberries at me.

Joshua and Jaislynn caught just visiting, they love to talk to each other. I never imagined that Josh would be such a great big brother. If I were to give some one advice on having children, and how far apart is best, I think it would be 41/2 yrs -it seems perfect!

This is Jaislynn all ready for another day out. She just looks so cute I have to snap a photo every chance I get!

I am still learning how to post here on blogger, I will say I had about 5 other photos posted and when I tried to space them, it just deleted them. I think next time I will try a different browser. So we will see if that makes a difference.

Some cute things that Joshua has said in the past couple days I want to share:

His Nana came over on Monday and he was playing with a rope, I don't know why he has thousands and thousands of toys, but prefers just a ordinary rope some days. He had it draped around his shoulders, and around the back of his neck. She told him to be careful not to get it around his neck so he would choke. His response " Oh Nana, you don't have to worry about me, I am really educated so I will be alright."

Last night when I was getting him settled for bed he was going on and on about why he needs a pet pig.(I have got to hide the Charlotte's Web dvd, I think he's watched it a few too many times) He says " I have about had it with Lucky (our almost 13 yr old cat) she doesn't like to play anymore, so I think we should just trade her for a baby pig" " I think pigs are better than cats, don't you mom?" It took awhile but I finally got him settled with telling him we could maybe visit some pigs at a farm, but that we can't have pet pigs in town, because its against the rules. He is ready to move to a farm!
